Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by: J.K. Rowling
I like what I read today because J.K Rowling has a great voice in her literature. She gives us an image in our mind of this magical world. I enjoy reading this book because it puts you in a place so different than where you live. The descriptive words in the story stick out so greatly in your head. When I read this book the time flys by. I lose track of the time as i read the book because the author really does put you in that other world. Snape the potionsmaster still confuses me on whether he is good or evil. Snape seemed to be on the good side but he killed Dumbledor and now is aiding Voldemort in finding Harry. However Snape could be trying to trick Voldemort by making it seem that he is helping him, while really aiding the good side. Harry Potter, the main character, is really going through a tough time in his life. Both of his parents died as a child and a raving murderous wizard has been trying to regain power in order to get to him. Harry became very close with his headmaster at Hogwarts, along with his godfather. Sadly, both were murdered in the last book as a shock to Harry. In this book Harry is seems to be remenissing over the past. The wizarding world is making a plan to fight off Voldemort and his army, and to keep Harry safe. Hagrid, Mad Eye Mooney, Tonks, Kingsley, the Weasley kids, and other friends from the wizarding world came Harry's Muggle house (the Dursley's) and came up with a plan to get Harry to another place without Voldemort finding him. I am curious as to see what happens next. I really enjoy reading the Harry Potter books.
